Pinehill ANZAC service

Today at school we had a ANZAC service. We were supposed to be quiet but I heard lots of other people from other classes chatting. Clement read the Flanders Field poem and Ty read the Ode poem in Maori and English. The musician who was our guest played The Last Post on the trumpet. I have to say he was really good. I saw the NZ flag going up and down on the flagpole. After he played the song we put our poppies on the stage. There was another song that I think was called little red poppy. We went out of the hall quietly and remembered the ANZACs who spent there lives saving ours.
